In “Divine Madness”, James, Lauren, and Dana are secret agent kids that are part of a British organization called Cherub. Cherub gives homes to orphans and teaches them fighting and makes them fit enough to go on missions for months on other country’s. Cherub sends these kids fully prepared on missions to take down drug dealers, serial killers, and deadly animal rights activists.
On this mission they are sent to Australia to penetrate and take down and religious cult, The Survivors Ark, which is believed to be associated with a terrorist group called “Help Earth”. The cult uses the public school to recruit kids into their organization, and then, if they are worthy enough they ask them to join their elite school which is in a remote area. To make it in you have to pass an academic and physical test. James and Lauren are accepted, but not Dana. Dana has to stay back with their secret agent “parents” that make sure the mission is going well, while James and Lauren are on their own. While James and Lauren are away they meet Rathbone, or Rat, who is the son of the founder of Survivors Ark and Rat helps them finish the mission and helps them leave safely. Rat helps them with planning because he knows all of the tunnels around the campus.
This book is for kids ages ten to fourteen years old and who like books with a lot of suspense. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time!
